Client: Myers School of Art: Senior Exhibition

Role: Creative Director

Technique: Indesign, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro

Description: Shift & Align was a fully student-led exhibition showcasing the work of graduating seniors in the Graphic Design program. The senior class was divided into two groups, each tasked with developing a concept for the show’s theme and branding. After presenting our ideas, the class voted on the final direction and selected four Creative Directors to lead the project. The concept developed by my group was chosen, and I was honored to be selected as one of the four Creative Directors.

Over the course of two months, we oversaw every aspect of the exhibition’s execution, from invitations and the event website to social media campaigns, digital graphics, environmental design, and branded materials such as pins and bags. Our work on the exhibition’s brand identity and environmental design were recognized with ADDY Awards from the American Advertising Federation (AAF) in 2024.

Profile Picture

Hello!

My name is Brianna Kean

In the middle of my college career I decided to change my major from Speech Language Therapy to Graphic Design to be able to pursue a career that would allow me to use my creative mind. I now have a BFA in Graphic Design from The University of Akron.

While I love being a designer and working on creative projects I also have many other hobbies. I love traveling anywhere and everywhere, hiking and going on walks, going to musicals, live music, painting, photography, and cuddling with my cats!
